Flock – the web browser

20 May

I spoke today at Connecting Up 08, in Brisbane, my presentation: “Virtually Breathing: MOSHCC’s Fritz and Sauce method for dealing with the flood of information”

I’ll post a few things out of the presentation here, since it is the inspiration for this new blog!

I gave a short demo of Flock, the social web browser, which is one of the ways I connect with people and information online. I only showed a few features, but there is so much more: web clipboard, blog posting, rss reader, del.icio.us integration… watch this episode of Mahalo Daily for a great look at Flock by the developers behind it.

Once Google Reader starts working I’ll add this blog’s feed. Until then – bookmarked you shall be!

Does Flock integrate with the Googleverse? If it does I’ll give it a go.

Would this be the work of Stuart from Milang Old School House Community Centre perchance?

It appears your ‘fritz and sauce’ presentation was quite a hit at the CU08 conference.
Certainly is the thing that caught my eye watching from afar.
    Well done mate.

Thanks Mike, it is indeed I.

You were missed at the Conference, but good to see things feeding through. Can’t say anything any more without it getting twittered ;-) I’m contributing to that though of course…

Nice one stuart .. picked this up during jo kay’s presentation.

So is this your own personal / professional space now? and let me see, you’ve hosted it on wordpress.com, but you’ve got your own domain name for it .. neat.

Glad to hear the conference went well ;-]
    hope you’re well,
    michael

yes my “professional” blog I have a personal blog… but I thought it would be nice to have something I could share with people at conferences etc, something worthy of being on a business card!

Bought the domain from GoDaddy, but you can can buy through wordpress too, all very easy to set up.

    Much better now thanks :-)
